About the Redbird FMX
The Spencer Flight & Education Center is home to a Redbird FMX, an FAA-approved simulator that offers various aircraft, location and weather condition setups. The simulator, as well as the SFEC facility, is the only one of its kind between Denver and Wichita.
The Redbird FMX is currently configured for a Beechcraft A36, Beechcraft BE58, Cessna 172 and a Cessna 206. Flight time in the simulator offers unique training opportunities at a lower per-hour cost. Simulator hours can be used for keeping skills fresh as well as for obtaining new ratings.
Simulator Pricing
Advance purchase of hours in the Redbird FMX simulator is available to SFEC customers. Simulator hours are good for one year from date of purchase.
